Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Training Alumni Day
8th October 2015 **REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED**

Moorfields Eye Hospital World Sight Day – Retinopathy Screening Training Alumni Day is held annually on the second Thursday in October. The year’s event will take place on Thursday 8th October 2015 at Imperial College London in South Kensington. Registration will open on the 1st June 2015.

World Sight Day is an international day of awareness to bring global focus to blindness and visual impairment: drawing attention to the right for sight. The day concentrates on the issues surrounding access to eye care which can reduce the magnitude of avoidable blindness, as up to 80% of cases of blindness are avoidable. At Moorfields we are especially keen to use this day as effectively as possible.

We are expecting several guest speakers, covering topics arising from different new experiences. Also, there will be the usual popular choice talk. Although, it is early days yet, we are hoping to put together another innovative event to equal, if not surpass the last.

Previously, we have been very fortunate to gain the support of sponsorship from a variety of sources. We would be very happy to invite interested parties to provide sponsorship for this year’s event.

Registration is now closed
